The members of the 1990 AAA subcommittee are: Lowell Ericsson (chair), John Crabb, Yu-Ching Pan, Raymond Paxton, and George Tarr. They have been working over the past several months on the design and preparation of the 1990 amino acid analysis samples. This study was designed to evaluate amino acid analysis procedures for samples which contain relatively high amounts of buffer salts and for samples adsorbed to PVDF membranes. These samples were distributed in mid-March to members (Facility Directors only) who had paid their dues by March 1. One or two follow up mailings are planned for additional members who pay their dues before May 15.
