In the past, ABRF has been funded largely through committee members who donated services and through a one year NSF grant. To help place the organization on a more permanent, sounder financial basis, we have sought corporate sponsors and have initiated membership dues effective January 1990 as announced at our meeting in Seattle in 1989.
The 1990 annual fee for a core facility with its Director's membership is $100. Individuals who are not Facility Directors may join ABRF as associate members by paying annual dues of $20. Associate members will receive mailings and are eligible for subcommittee membership. Facility Directors that have paid their dues will receive test samples for evaluation and may also make nominations to the Executive Committee as well as vote in elections.
Dues can be paid hy sending a check (no P.O.'s) to Elizabeth Fowler (address on page 1).
