The second election of ABRF officers was held in the Fall of 1989. Alan Smith and David Speicher were elected to the Executive Committee for three year terms. They replaced Audree Fowler and Donna Atherton. The 1990 Executive Committee unanimously reelected Ron Niece as the chair and Elizabeth Fowler as the secretary/treasurer.
A nominations committee has been formed that is comprised of Audree Fowler (chair), Ruth Angeletti, and Tony Hugli. In accordance with our bylaws, all facility directors (who have paid their dues) are invited to submit nominations for the 1991 Executive Committee. Send your nominations to: Audree Fowler, Department of Biological Chemistry, UCLA School of Medicine, Los Angeles, CA 90024.
The deadline for nominations is June 15, 1990 and a final slate of candidates will be presented at the Protein Society Satellite Meeting. Election by mail ballot will take place in the fall.
