As you will notice, we still need a logo. While protein chemists are certainly thoughtful scientists, the "thinker" on page 1 is NOT our logo. Instead, it indicates that we hope you will take a few minutes to think of some creative ideas. Only a few entries were received by the beginning of July and we decided to extend the competition until September 15. You may submit as many ideas as you like, and the person submitting the idea does not have to be an ABRF member. We would like to thank the several individuals who made contributions already. All entries received by September 15 will be coded and distributed to a panel comprised of ABRF members from institutions which have not submitted any entries. If a suitable logo is selected, it will be included in the November newsletter and its originator will be acknowledged at that time.
