The goal of this year's study is to obtain the best and most complete analysis of a test protein. A relatively large amount of protein was provided to the members so that a number of analyses could be performed, including cysteine and tryptophan determinations. The sample was distributed in late February to the 193 facility directors on the mailing list as described above. Additional mailings are planned for new members who paid their dues after February 1, 1991. The results of the study will be presented at the ABRF Satellite Meeting on June 22, immediately before the Protein Society Symposium in Baltimore.
