It is a pleasure to report that the National Science Foundation recently awarded a grant to the ABRF totaling $104,246 in direct costs over 3 years for a proposal entitled "Support for the Association of Biomolecular Resource Facilities." These funds will be used by ABRF research subcommittees to design, conduct and publish core facility surveys and studies associated with reference samples. We gratefully acknowledge NSF support and also thank the many scientists who wrote supporting letters. The grant will he administrated from the W. Alton Jones Cell Science Center under the direction of John W (Crabb and the ABRF Executive Committee.
