The peptide synthesis/mass spectrometry subcommittee has initiated a study for 1991. The subcommittee requested that interested ABRF members synthesize a peptide of predetermined sequence by their method of choice and return the product to the subcommittee. We will characterize these products by at least 6 different analytical techniques and return the results to the participating facilities. The deadline for returning the synthetic products for characterization is April 8, 1991. The synthesis instructions were distributed by Ken Williams.
