The peptide synthesis/mass spectrometry subcommittee has completed the objectives of the 1991 study. The results have been analyzed and the conclusions were presented at the Satellite Meeting. A manuscript has been accepted for publication in Techniques in Protein Chemistry III. A poster was presented at the Peptide Symposium in Boston. The analytical characterization of the individual samples has been returned to each of the participating laboratories. In addition, there have been a small number of samples that arrived after the original acceptance deadline. The subcommittee members will characterize these samples and return that data in the near future. The subcommittee greatly appreciates the efforts of the 35 laboratories that participated in this study.
