As the year draws to a close, we are happy to report that the transition to our new Business Office at FASEB has proceeded smoothly and is now completed. Please direct any routine questions and requests for information to Debbie Stoutamire and her staff. Their address, phone and fax are listed at the bottom of this page. All members should have received their 1993 Dues Notice in October. If you have not yet paid your dues for 1993, please respond immediately to ensure that you receive all 1993 test samples, surveys and other member benefits in a timely fashion.
This newsletter is the first issue to be produced by our new Editor, Ken Williams with the typesetting and printing assistance of the new Business Office. Ken is instituting a number of changes and new features. He would appreciate comments and suggestions for additional features for the newsletter.
The 1992 Executive Board would also like to thank our members, sponsors, other corporate contributors and especially our 1992 committee members for their contributions and support during the past year. The organization has continued to grow steadily during 1992. Most 1993 research committees have started organizing next year's projects and a full list of the new committee memberships will be included in the next newsletter.
We would also like to welcome Lowell Ericsson and Dan Marshak to the Executive Board. The 1993 Executive Board has elected Greg Grant to serve as the ABRF President and Ray Paxton will be the Secretary/Treasurer in 1993. Finally, as our term on the board ends, Al Smith and I would like to express our sincere appreciation for the opportunity to serve the organization in this capacity; although it has been a lot of work, it has also been exciting and rewarding.
