The 1992 studies have been completed, and committee members are busy tabulating the results in preparation for the Satellite Meeting. Response rates have been generally good, and sufficient data will be available for the committees to analyze. Many thanks to those who participated in this year's studies. As in the past, the results of this year's study will be presented orally in conjunction with the Protein Society Symposium. It is anticipated that the results will be published in the book associated with the Protein Society Symposium, Techniques in Protein Chemistry IV. The oral and poster presentations at the Satellite Meeting in San Diego will highlight those methods that appear to be most reliable and readily adaptable to resource facility use. The results will also be distributed to members in manuscript form. In other news, the amino acid analysis committee is happy to announce that two new members have joined the committee, namely, Tom Andersen, Biochemistry, Albany Medical College and Jay Fox, Microbiology, Univ. of Virginia Medical School, Charlottesville, VA.
