Several weeks ago we distributed a letter asking for contributions to a compendium of modified or unusual amino acids that have been encountered in automated sequence analysis. We believe it would be very useful to have this information available in a single reference. With your help we hope to provide just such a source to the scientific community. If you have any data or know of any references that would be useful, we would appreciate hearing from you. You may send contributions to Greg Grant at the Dept. of Molecular Biology and Pharmacology, Box 8103, Washington University School of Medicine, 660 S. Euclid Avenue, St. Louis, MO 63110. If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to call (314) 362-3367 or FAX (314) 362-4698.
