As many of you are already aware, we are compiling a list of modified or unusual PTH-amino acids encountered in sequence analysis. So far, we have received responses from approximately 20 individuals, many of which contain data on multiple PTH-amino acids. This is a good start but more input is desirable. If you have anything to contribute, but haven't gotten around to it yet, please submit your information as soon as possible so that we can get a first edition together for distribution. Please send any information you have, either from personal experience or that you've seen in the literature, to Greg Grant. His address is listed on the front page of the newsletter.
