The Executive Board is pleased to announce the establishment of the Beckman-ABRF Award for outstanding contributions to the field of biomolecular technologies and applications.
Beckman Instruments will sponsor an annual award of $10,000 to be presented at the annual meeting of the ABRF. The award will recognize outstanding achievement in the general areas of methodology and instrumentation in all relevant biomolecular fields relating to proteins, nucleic acids, carbohydrates and lipids. The selection will be made by an anonymous jury and the first award will be presented in July 1994 at the ABRF annual meeting.
