Director of Biotechnology Facility. Indiana University School of Medicine. The Department of Biochemistry and Molecular Biotechnology is seeking a Director of the Biotechnology Facility. The position offers a unique opportunity for an individual who combines expertise in the synthesis and analysis of macromolecules with strong administrative skills. Applicants should have a Ph.D. or equivalent degree and postdoctoral experience in Molecular Biology or Biochemistry. The appointment would be at the Assistant or Associate Scientist level. Major current services include peptide and DNA synthesis and sequencing, and mass spectrometry. The facility has a staff of two and a half full-time personnel, operates more than $700,000 of equipment, and has a generous space allocation. The successful candidate would be encouraged to initiate research programs, independently or in collaboration with other faculty.
