 New ABRF Web Address

The ABRF World Wide Web site has been relocated to a commercial Internet service provider located in California. The reason for this move was to provide faster access to our entire international membership, to make better use of our scattered volunteer base involved in maintaining the site, and to take advantage of a commercial setting offering the latest technologies on a Unix platform that were not available on our desktop Macintosh server. At the same time, the domain name "abrf.org" has been registered and the Web site has had a thorough "spring cleaning".

The DNA Sequence Research Group and the Mass Spectrometry Research Group are in the process of formatting their ABRF '98 study posters into web-friendly documents and other Research Groups/Committees are encouraged to consider the same.

The Web site is still maintained by Ken Mitchelhill in Melbourne and the ABRF Archives, involving predominantly the archives of the ABRF Electronic Discussion Group, by Dirk Krapf. Comments and suggestions, which are always welcome, can be E-mailed to either kenm@abrf.org or krapf@abrf.org.
