The Education Group has recently been busy helping the meeting organizers by coordinating the research group sessions that will be presented at ABRF '98. Some groups will be presenting data from recent surveys and others will be discussing new research techniques or protocols. A new item that the Education Group will oversee this year is a bulletin board at the meeting for posting and promoting small informal discussion groups at social breaks during the meeting. We encourage anyone who would like to meet with others to talk about a specific topic that may not covered in the regular sessions, or to discuss a covered topic in more detail, to utilize this board for postings.
To help promote the ABRF and to show off our new logo, the Education Group suggested that placards of the ABRF logo be placed in the bags that will be distributed at the meeting. These placards can be displayed on posters at other meetings or functions to show your affiliation with the ABRF.
