The rapid advance of science and technology will require that new technologies be incorporated as core functions in Biomolecular Resource Facilities. The Education Committee will host a roundtable discussion of these future technologies at ABRF '99. We believe that ABRF members can provide critical input in the identification and implementation of these technologies in the shared resource facility setting. The roundtable will be equally valuable in identifying future education and training needs. The discussion will be held during the Committee Presentation and will be open to participation by members of the audience. We hope everyone can join the discussion. Ideas and suggestions may be forwarded in advance of the meeting to Barbara Merrill (bm31899@glaxowellcome.com) or to any member of the Education Committee.
