    The ABRF Survey Committee would like to remind you to participate in

"Biotechnology Salary and Compensation Survey". YOU DO NOT NEED TO FILL

OUT THE QUESTION (15) ASKING FOR THE PRICE OF A HAMBURGER AT
MCDONALD'S. Just go to the salary survey website http://128.138.143.10
and enter the survey using User Name "ABRF" and Password "salary99".

    We had attempted to normalize the salary data world-wide using what
is
referred to as the "Big Mac index"--but it is clear from our first 65
respondents that we will not be able to use this value to normalize
data.

We thank you in advance for your participation--the more respondents,
the more meaningful the data!
