Dears,
I have just experienced an interesting problem with the Mac running an ABI
377. We have a 377 purchased with the 96 upgrade, but it seems that this is
not the core of the problem. According to ABI the problem is in the
AppleTalk and they acknowledged that today was the worse day, as they had
hundred of calls from users reporting the exact same situation. This glitch
creates a complete break in the communication between the 377 instrument and
the Mac. In my case, I had to reinstall the collection software to fix the
problem, but other user did not have to go that far. I am interested in
knowing if other 377 users have experienced a similar problem in the first
run of the millennium.
