Hi, Divakaremenon:
We also ran a Y2K test synthesis on our 9050, with the following observations:
1) the computer, not Y2K-updated, shows today's date as 05-01-2021 (dd-mm-yy).
Prior to Y2K, years were two digits...
2) the synthesis file was saved (yesterday) as 04-05-121 (three digits for the
year, like yourself)
3) we have processed the peptide-resin and it looks fine by HPLC and MALDI
A colleague who's more computer-literate than me suggests we reset the
computer to some "reasonable" date, e.g., 1990, and see what happens. I am
tempted to let things in statu quo. Any suggestions anyone?
