We have recently obtained an Abimed DigestPro and are just now begining
to use it. I would like to know what are the best buffers and
concentrations thereof to minimize ion supression in Maldi. Some people
advocate the use of Tris buffers, others ammonium bicarbonate. We were
hoping to avoid the use of desalting columns, and wondered what other
users of this instrument did.
