I have a 494HT and have a double 00 in my date and experience no problems
with single 0's in the bottle change menu. This is due to the advice of
M. Sherlund who installed the operating system 7.6.1 on my MAC which is
Y2K compliant. Anything lower than this operating system will not be Y2K
compliant. Those interested in version 7.6.1 or higher may down-load it free
from the Apple web page.
