I have a question for all you chemistry types. If I make up a
solution of urea (around a 6 molar solution), how long will this be
stable at room temp or 4c. When I have done tests like this before I
have gotten some batches that seem to have gone bad. I want to use
this for making up our sequencing gels and not have to mix and filter
the urea solution every morning. I have tried commercial versions
of the premixed gel and I am not really satisfied with any of them.
