The Molecular Biology Program's Protein Core Facility at the University of
Missouri-Columbia seeks applications for an Associate Director for
Recombinant Protein Expression. Qualifications include a M.S. or Ph.D. in a
biotechnology-related field, and a record of publication demonstrating
experience in cloning and expression of proteins in
E. coli, insect and/or mammalian cells, protein purification and
intermediate-scale fermentation. Responsibilities include supervising a
technician, generating appropriate expression constructs, and designing
protocols for growth, expression and recombinant protein purification.
