Dear Wei,
Considering the potential for your dye to stick to every surface in sight,
you may want to attempt the separation with a disposable item like a Solid
Phase Extraction cartridge. These come in every mode that regular HPLC
columns do. Which one to try depends on the sequence of your peptide. Well?
Best regards,

Dear colleagues,
I want to couple NHS-Rhodamine (MW527) to the only- lysine residue of an
octa-mer peptide (MW 1030). The N-terminal is blocked. Can any one suggest a
method to remove the excess dye from the the peptide?
Thanks in advance
