Hi All,
Newer MacOS versions (8.0 and above?) have enhanced screenshot capabilities:
command-shift-3 = capture entire screen
command-shift-4 = capture an area of the screen by drawing a box
command-shift-capslock-4 = capture a single window

add control to the mix and the picture automatically gets placed on
the clipboard instead of a file

There are also shareware utilities like Snapz Pro
(http://ambrosiasw.com) that have enhancements above the standard
screen capture.
Hope this is useful.

on another note, I would suggest that messages posted to this list
contain subjects as described in the guidelines at
http://abrf.org/ABRF/ListServe.html. It makes the archives more
useful and allows folks to make an informed decision on whether or
not a particular message will interedt them.
