Scottie,
   I agree. In fact I grudgingly chose to use the "comp" prefix so I
was "walking the walk" while venting on a pet peeve. Even if there
were fewer completely blank subjects there would be an improvement.
I also think it is in the interest of an author to provide a subject.
If time is tight I (and others I suppose) will skip messages that
provide no clues as to their contents.
