We are rapidly approaching the submission deadline for the General Survey of
DNA Sequencing Labs. A preliminary presentation of this survey will be given at
ABRF 2000. To be certain that your information is included you must submit no
later than 1/31/00. To ensure that the information presented accurately
describes the average DNA sequencing lab it is important that we receive a
statistically significant number of submissions. Your participation is
essential. If you have not yet participated in this survey please do so as soon
as possible. Information concerning how to participate can be found below:
The DNA Sequencing Research Group is currently conducting a General Survey of
DNA sequencing labs. The purpose of which is to provide an accurate and up to
date picture of the composition and configuration of the average DNA sequencing
lab. To participate in the General Survey use the following url:
http://brcweb.bio.cornell.edu/dsrg2000/. All information necessary to
participate can be found there. The survey requires approximately 10 minutes to
complete.
It is our intention to present a preliminary report on this survey at the ABRF
2000 in Bellevue, WA (Feb. 19-22). If you wish to have your data included in
the preliminary presentation please submit the survey by January 31. Hope to
hear from you soon!
