Hi,
I would like to detect low concentrations (1 ug/ml) of Tween 80 by
means of RP-ODS HPLC (or maybe C4) and UV detection. I tried with
an ACN gradient and detection at 210 nm. I got a somewhat broad peak
(many forms of Tween, I suppose). Unfortunately I also got some
disturbing blank peaks, from the mobile phase, at the same RT.
I also tried 1-propanole, with the same result
I am grateful for advice about an useful method for RP HPLC analysis of
Tween 80, using UV detection. I suppose derivatization may be required.
