Analytical Chromatography, Group Leader/Sr Scientist [Reference: #1059]
We are seeking a PhD-level Scientist experienced in the development, optimization and validation of chromatographic assays to support our biopharmaceutical client companyís recombinant vaccines and therapeutics.
Responsibilities/Requirements:
a.. Ph.D. in Chemistry or Biochemistry, with at least 3-5 years experience working with HPLC methods such as ion exchange, reversed phase, and affinity chromatography.
b.. Protein-based experience a requirement; Preference will be given to candidates who have both large and small drug experience.
c.. Broad base of skills in e.g., G.C, Spectroscopy work such as UV-Vis and/or fluorescent scans.
d.. Experience working in a GMP environment in a development or pilot plant environment.
e.. Responsible for support of both the manufacture of companyís recombinant products and new products in Discovery Research.
f.. Responsible for managing a group of approx 4 scientists/research associates. Ideal candidate will have prior supervisory/management experience.
