Prot-Seq-Lanthionine?

Protein Sequencers,
A customer of mine has asked if I can detect lanthionine on my
N-terminal sequencer (PE/ABI Procise 492). I assumed lanthionine would be
broken down like cysteine but I see a reference in the ABRF Modified Amino
Acids "handbook". It appears to come out on top of lysine. Does anyone
have any experience with this?
Thanks,
Bill
