Mass Spec and beta-endorphin

Hi All
One of my colleagues has asked if it is possible to use LC-MS for
determination of beta-endorphin instead of the traditional RIA-method. We
want to measure beta-endorphin in plasma from pigs.
Does anyone have experience on this or have some references on it?
