ABRF MS/MS Peptide Sequencing Quiz

Dear ABRF member:
The soon-to-be-defunct ABRF Mass Spec Committee (due to paradigm
shifts, consolidations to promote synergies, and similar out-of-the-box
thinking, we will no longer exist) has prepared an on-line quiz containing
MS/MS data for four peptides from which the ABRF member is to deduce the
corresponding sequences. Included with the quiz is a tutorial on how to go
about sequencing tryptic peptides using MS/MS data. The point of the quiz
is to

determine if there is any interest in the topic of de novo peptide
sequencing using tandem mass spectral data
to see if people already know how to do this, and
to allow members to compare data obtained from two types of mass
   spectrometers (ion trap and Qtof).

The peptides cannot be found in any sequence database, so there is no
possibility of cheating via a database match. If you would like to take a
stab at it, visit the abrf.org web site and find the link under the heading
"Open Research Group Studies", or use the following URL:
