PROTEIN CHEMIST
Mass Spectrometry and Peptide Synthesis

Responsibilities will include high-throughput peptide synthesis and
characterization by HPLC and MALDI-TOF mass spectrometry, using automated
workflow procedures and robotic sample handling devices. As the laboratory
grows the responsibilities for this position may shift to mapping
phosphorylation sites in proteins by mass spectrometry after two-dimensional
gel electrophoresis and protein digestion. Training will be provided as
needed but preference will be given to experienced applicants.

We are seeking a detail-oriented individual to assume responsibility for
day-to-day operation after training. This position emphasizes bench, data
interpretation, and decision-making skills. Applicants should have a BS or
MS degree in Chemistry, Biology or a related field.

Cell Signaling Technology will be located at the Cummings Center in Beverly,
MA.
