Protein Sequencing

ABRFer's,
I need to get a sequence of a protein that is known to have an N-acetyl
methionine as the N-terminal residue. We usually get internal sequence
information on blocked proteins but I am willing to try a deblocking
protocol, especially since I know what the blocking group is. Does anyone
know of a procedure to remove the N-acetyl group from methionine? Is there
some literature that I can get about deblocking in general?
Thanks,
Bill
