Rubicon Genomics is a well-funded, independent startup company, founded in
Ann Arbor, Michigan, and supported by a strong patent position. Rubiconís
mission is to create new biochemical tools to accelerate gene discovery and
diagnostic applications within Rubicon and for our large pharmaceutical,
agricultural, and biotechnology partners.
Rubicon will hire 10 full-time research scientists over the next 6 months to
lead research operations in its new Ann Arbor facilities. These scientists
will refine the technology and initiate high-throughput genomics projects
with commercial and institutional partners.
Important Qualifications and Useful Experience
three years post-PhD or seven years post-MS
general molecular biology techniques
DNA enzymology or chemistry
pulsed field electrophoresis
bioinformatics
sequencing
robotics
cloning
PCR
