I'd love to find a way to check for blocked capillaries on the ABI 3700's.
We've been trying Perkin-Elmers fifth dye technology for the 377 and I'm
looking for an equivalent for the 3700.
I'd like to differentiate between failures based on crummy sample versus
failures because of non-injection.
The theory would show a dye peak above the background noise if the sample
actually injected into the capillary. You could then tell that it's a
failure because of sample quality and not injection.
I believe that PE may be working on this. I'd like something faster than
they could roll out.
Any ideas?
