We are seeking a Ph.D. level scientist to establish and lead a biophysical group
within the Biopharmaceutical Characterization and Analysis department. The
department efforts focus on the characterization of recombinant glycoproteins
and development and application of analytical technologies for the evaluation of
protein structure and stability. The candidate will work in a highly
collaborative, interdisciplinary environment and will provide biophysical
expertise in technology development projects, will execute and expand
capabilities for the biophysical characterization of the molecules.
Qualifications include a Ph.D. in biophysics, physical chemistry or a related
discipline with a minimum of 5 years of relevant work experience. A strong
background in protein structure, protein folding, protein/protein interactions
and stability, as well as experience with biophysical techniques, such as
ultracentrifugation, calorimetry, surface plasmon resonance, CD spectroscopy and
light scattering is required. The candidate should have excellent communication
