Carmen,
I don't know of many labs who use this procedure anymore, but when I was at Purdue, the agricultural station used to do it routinely (this was 12 yrs ago). You may be able to get the # by contacting the biochem dept (765-494-1600). I don't know if they do contract work but they may know of someone who does. At GI we use amino acid analysis as a backup method (either Beckman or Picotag).
I once used a method (it worked!) for determining total nitrogen of affinity chromatography supports that should work fine and is easier than the Kjeldahl. I don't have the exact reference, but it was on page 9 of Meth. Enz. volume titled Affinity Chromatography. I attached the scanned page with the procedure for you, I hope you can read it.

Hello All
We are trying to obtain an extinction coefficient for several proteins and
would like to be able to use the Kjeldahl analysis method as a backup procedure.
Can anyone provide me with the name, location and phone number for laboratories
(contract lab) that are currently performing this analysis .
Thanks,
