Dear David,
Not knowing what is your "something" PITC, the only comment I can made is
that I used Florescein - succinimidyl ester (Molecular probes) instead of
thiocyanate for the coupling of fluoresceine in the synthesis of labelled
peptides. The resulting amide bond survey the clivage protocol (Fmoc
chemistry).
