Dear colleagues;

I would like to ask you for your input to the Lab Manager Survey and remind
you about the May 1. deadline.

Thank you for your time,

Martin Sadilek

===========================================================================
Colleagues;

     The ASMS Laboratory Manager's Interest Group is conducting a survey of
laboratory managers in academic, government, industrial and contract
research laboratories. The purpose of this survey is to evaluate the
current state of mass spectrometry service facilities with regard to
operation and management, instrument facilities and services, and the
professional experience of personnel. If you currently manage a mass
spectrometry facility you are invited to participate in this survey
using the following URL:

         http://ci1001245-a.wllmsn1.tn.home.com/ASMS/

     The result of this survey will be presented at the 48th Annual Meeting
of the ASMS to be held in Long Beach, CA in June. In addition, the result
will be published in the Journal of Mass Spectrometry later this year as a
special feature. In order to protect the confidentiality of participants,
only summary data will be described. No personally identifiable information
will be released in any presentation of form.

    We appreciate your willingness to participate in this survey. If you
have any questions concerning this survey, please feel free to contact us.

Sincerely,
