We would like to find a source of foil for sealing of 96 well plates for the
ABI "fang piercing" 3700. As any user probably knows, the listed product
only comes in custom cut and large quantities from 3M dealers. We have
tried the Robbins and Alumaseal products and have found them to be too thick
and to puncture unreliably. Our service engineer has heard of people using
the plastic film successfully. If anyone knows of a specific produce and
brand that will work consistently and not bend or clog the fangs, we'd like
to hear. jp
