I use a Pharmacia Biotech Gene Assembler Special DNA synthesizer, and
can no longer find the chemical 1,2 Dichloroethane. Pharmacia has
discontinued that chemical and has switched to 1,2, Dichloromethane.
The specifications needed are:
Purity: Greater than 99.5%
Water: Less than 50 ppm
Residue: Less than 1 ppm
UV Spectrum: Smooth with no peaks
Absorbance at 230 nm: Less than 0.3

I would appreciate any assistance. Thank you.
