In our experience, we see the same issues on a G3 333MhZ imac (rev.
c) running OS9. I will test on a G3 powerbook and get my bases
covered for the assertion that it's the OS.
Our sequencing crew tells me that tracking is improved with V3.4
and they would much prefer to use that. Perhaps they can comment.
