Some of you might recall that a web-based tutorial and quiz was presented
on the topic of sequencing tryptic peptides using low energy CID tandem
mass spectrometry. Using data from both an ion trap and a quadrupole /
time-of-flight hybrid, participants had the opportunity to try sequencing
four peptides of unknown sequence (ie, not in any database). The results
and answers have been posted (
http://www.abrf.org/ABRF/ResearchCommittees/masspecquiz/abrfQuiz.html). In
the event that anyone might want to take the quiz and grade themselves, the
data and tutorial will remain posted.
