LC-MS software issues--LCQ deca (fwd)

Does anyone have any experience using the Finnegan LCQ Deca bundled with
their new Surveyor LC system or with the LCQ Deca with HP's 1100
system? Are there software compatibility issues with the instruments from
two different companies?? Can the Finnegan software control both HPLC
systems? The software for HP's HPLC is pretty expensive--is it sufficient
for running the HPLC alone?
