I just converted from the Navigator 1.2 to the Excalibur 1.1 software on
my LCQ PC. My question is concerned with the MSn settings. There are two
new parameters in the Excalibur software that I am not familiar with; they
are called "Activation Q" and "Activation Time". I was wondering if
anybody has any information on these settings for tryptic peptide MS/MS
analysis. I am sure that as always they depend on the individual peptide
ion but would like to get a rough idea what values people use.
