We are trying to check the calibration of our UV/Vis spectrophotometer and
are having difficulty finding the appropriate NIST traceable standard. A set
of metal on quartz filters can be used in both the UV and Vis range but the
spectrophotometer is made by Hitachi and they recommend against the use of
these filters due to an issue with reflectance. The remaining is using
potassium dichromate solution for the UV range and neutral density glass in
the visible range (thus requiring 2 separate AND expensive sets of
calibration filters/solutions.)
Would anyone know of a vendor who would supply NIST or equivalent solid
filters that could be used in the 250-600 nm range for Hitachi's
spectrophotometer?

Thanks in advance for any input.
