ABGene (www.abgene.com) have sold us plate holders for their (cheaper)
96-well plates. If you want to use PE Biosystems plates, ABGene still might
be able to help you out. However, we find ABGene's plates much cheaper adn
just as good...

I would like to know if people have ordered extra plate holders for
the 3700. I called up PE (or PE/abd or ABI, whatever they call
themselves these days) and the person at tech support gave me the
only part # they could find but when I tried to order it they said I
could not because the part # tech support gave me was part a larger
kit (the 3700 kit I am assuming) and therefore they could not sell it
to me. Has anyone had any success in ordering just the plate holder.
