That resin was made by Ekagen Corp, and their phone has been
disconnected.Bad sign.
I saw a paper in which the resin was used, and it was obtained by Peptide
International
of Louisville,Ky.They confirmed that the product(and/or manufacturer)has
been discontinued.
The have 2gm of the stuff, and that's it.
As for your previous question,I synthesized, several years ago a peptide
from hCG beta, which had cysteines at positions 34 and 38,and a methionine
at 41,and I did some
studies of the rate of disulfide bond formation.Methionine was not
affected,and there was
little dimer formation.I can refer you to J.P.Tam,et
al.,1991,J.Am.Chem.Soc.vol.113,6657-?

Subject: Ekathiox Resin where are you???
I'll use my second life line Regis...the e-mail a
friend...
Does anyone know what happened to the manufacturer of
Ekathiox Resin??? Sigma used to sell it, but it is no
longer being made...to my knowledge...and, they're
out.
Or better still, if there is a new manufacturer of it,
who are they, or is any available anywhere else?
